The safari starts at Tsavo East National, the largest park in Kenya and home to the infamous man-eating lions at Tsavo who preyed on men constructing the railway line between Mombasa and Kampala in the nineteenth century, you have opportunity to see the big five, and other small animals staying overnight at the lodge. Then proceeding to Taita wildlife lodge for lunch with afternoon game drive at the sanctuary overnight at the lodge build on stilts.

Day by Day Tour Itinerary
Day 1 – Mombasa/Tsavo east safari trail
Pick up from hotel/airport drive to Tsavo east via Bachuma gate, mid-morning game drive, lunch at Voi safari lodge, afternoon game drive. Opportunity to see Lions, red elephants of Tsavo, Leopards, Cheetahs, etc.
Tsavo East is the best for photographers with its fabulous light and unbelievable views, there are many elephants, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, lions, etc. Elephants glow red after dusk blowing the vivid red dust through their trunks over their bodies. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2 – Tsavo east/Taita wildlife sanctuary
Early game drive, breakfast drive to Taita wildlife sanctuary game drive en-route lunch at Saltlick safari lodge, afternoon game drive opportunity to see leopards, lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, etc. The lodge is built on stilts with rooms overlooking the waterholes, you have the opportunity to see elephants, buffaloes, lions at a very close range right at your room. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3 – Saltlick/Mombasa
Early game drive, breakfast game drive en route to the gate then drive back to Mombasa.
