Day by Day Tour Itinerary
Conveniently, we’ll pick you up from your hotel at 5:30 am and drive to Mombasa Airport. Your scheduled flight departs at 7:30 am on an Embraer EMB 120. You’ll arrive at Keekorok Airstrip in Masai Mara at 9:30 am. After a brief and formalities, you’ll begin the exploration of The Mara. At noon, you’ll enjoy an authentic bush lunch on the plains of Maasai Mara. It is perfectly set on a beautiful savannah grassland under the acacia trees providing an excellent natural ambience preferred by people who’d like to have an exciting and unique adventure in the middle of nowhere. At 5 pm, you’ll depart for an educative nature walk with an armed guard and a bonafide Maasai dressed in traditional African regalia. After the incredible walking safari, you’ll be transferred to a Maasai Boma. You’ll be transferred to Elewana Sand River Masai Mara for a luscious dinner and an overnight stay in a secluded and picturesque site on the banks of Sand River at the Masai Mara and Serengeti border.
You’ll get up at first light for a full English breakfast and full-day game drives at 7 am. Famous for the Great Migration, the Park is the only protected area with an indigenous population of the endangered Black Rhinos. All members of the Big Five reside here all year round. African wild dogs are rare due to the stiff competition from the honchos of the jungle, the golden lions, who often decimate their populations. The Mara ecosystem, spanning across Serengeti and Ngorongoro, has one of the highest densities of predators. Even the dramatic arrival of the Annual Migration merely adds to an already abundant resident wildlife that awaits discovery. At noon, you’ll have a piquant picnic lunch before proceeding for an afternoon game drive in this sanctuary for wildlife. At 5 pm, you’ll begin the drive back to the camp for a scrumptious dinner and an overnight stay. Your sleep is bound to be disturbed by the occasional lion roaring, but remember that it probably sounds closer than it is!
You’ll be up with the lark for a full English breakfast and game drives at 7 am. Another chance to witness Africa’s wildlife in their natural habitat is simply awe-inspiring. Ninety-five species of animals, amphibians and reptiles, and 450 species of birds were recorded. The numerous private and community-owned conservancies and group ranches surrounding the reserve significantly extend the entire ecosystem. You’ll munch on a savoury bush lunch at noon on this UNESCO World Heritage site. Later, you’ll be transferred to Keekorok Airstrip for departure on your scheduled flight at 2 pm to Mombasa Airport. You’ll arrive at around 4 pm. Our driver will then transfer you from the airport to your hotel anywhere in the city.
