Day by Day Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Masai Mara National Reserve
You’ll depart from Nairobi in the morning to Masai Mara passing through the highly agricultural highlands of the eastern escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. Here you will have a stopover at view point. At 2,200 meters above the sea level, views of Mount Longonot hundreds of meters below on the Rift Valley floor are spectacular. Lake Naivasha, the highest altitude of the Rift Valley lakes sparkles at a distance.
You’ll proceed to descend the escarpment to Narok town where we’ll stop over for a budget lunch before proceeding to Masai Mara. You will check in at the camp, have a short break to refresh then later proceed for evening game drive till dark. Your overnight stay will be at the camp.
Day 2
Masai Mara National Reserve
Today we’ll have a morning game drive where we’ll watch and photograph birds and animals. We’ll then have breakfast and depart for Masai Mara and we’ll arrive in time for lunch. You’ll then take an afternoon game drive. Thereafter, your dinner and overnight stay will be at the campsite. This is our most popular budget safari. Experience the Masai Mara under canvas and at an amazing budget. The accommodation during this safari is in spacious canvas tents that have beds and bed linen so no need to pack your sleeping bag. A hot water shower and flush toilet are built in as an extension to the tent and are private for each tent. You’ll be provided with electricity to recharge your cameras to 10 pm.
Day 3
Masai Mara National Reserve
You’ll have a full day in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Your meals and overnight stay will be at the campsite.
This is an extension to any Masai Mara safari. You will soar high in the sky over the plains of the Mara while watching wildlife roam below you as they have done over the centuries. The burst of propane burners as controlled by your experienced pilot and the click of cameras are the only noises that will interrupt the tranquil African morning.
Day 4
Lake Nakuru National Park
You’ll have a pre-breakfast game drive in the park, return to the campsite for late breakfast then leave Masai Mara for L. Nakuru National park with lunch served en-route. You will be arriving in Nakuru for dinner and your overnight. Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes at an elevation of 1754 m above sea level. It lies to the south of Nakuru, in the Rift Valley of Kenya and is protected by Lake Nakuru National Park.
Day 5
Nairobi
You’ll have a pre-breakfast game drive. Afterward, return to the campsite for breakfast. After breakfast break up the camp and depart for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.
