Our 5 Days Samburu, Lake Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha Safari takes you to the calmest yet most adventurous parks. A combination of great landscape views, superb wildlife spotting, and rich African culture. Samburu National Reserve lies on the fringes of the vast arid desert, Lake Nakuru National Park is home to the famous stunning pink flamingoes turning the lake shores into a magnificent pink stretch and lastly, Lake Naivasha the largest freshwater lake fringed by lush forests of fever trees.

Day by Day Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve

We leave Nairobi around 7.30am and drive north through cultivations of sisal and pineapple, to the northern frontier district, and on to Samburu National Reserve. Check-in at Samburu Sopa Lodge and enjoy a sumptuous Samburu delicacy.

After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive with a chance to see Samburu’s ‘Special Five’- the Reticulated giraffe, the Grevy’s Zebra Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx, and Somali Ostrich, among other big game like elephant and lion.

Dinner and overnight at the Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 2

Samburu National Reserve All-day

After breakfast, head out for a full day of game viewing in this dry semi-arid park with its striking background view of the Mathew’s Range. The surrounding terrain is renowned for the rare game, with Leopards being frequent passers-by. Drive through the gently flowing Ewaso Nyiro river, which traverses this Park and provides evergreen vegetation for the wildlife in this park.
You will have a picnic lunch out in the wild, which is always fun
Later in the evening, after hours out in the jungle, return to the lodge for freshening up and a freshly squeezed glass of juice

Day 3

Samburu National Reserve – Lake Nakuru National Park

Enjoy a delicious early-morning breakfast, then check out from Samburu Sopa Lodge. Embark on a 7-hour drive to Lake Nakuru National park. On arrival, check in at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, have late lunch, and relax from the long drive.

Afterward, proceed for an exciting late afternoon game drive. The bird life here is world-renowned, and over 400 bird species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets, and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the few places in Africa to see the White and Black Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe.

Return to base in the evening for Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast and check out from Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge. En route, enjoy a short game drive out of Lake Nakuru National Park for Lake Naivasha. There will be a stop to view the beautiful Rift Valley scenery as you proceed to Naivasha.

Check-in at Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp and later have Lunch. Later in the afternoon, proceed for a scenic drive at Hell’s Gate National Park, which allows Hiking, Bicycling, Rock climbing, wildlife photography, and a visit to the Geothermal power plant. In the late afternoon, indulge in a one-hour boat ride at Lake Naivasha.

Later, dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp.

Day 5

Lake Naivasha – Nairobi

After breakfast, check out from Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp and leave Lake Naivasha for Nairobi.

You will arrive in Nairobi in the mid-afternoon. Afterward, drop off at your respective hotel or Airport.
